Assaf Anderson

Assaf Y Anderson rejoined the Bar-Ilan Institute of Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials (BINA) in 2011 as a research fellow where he currently holds this position. He received his PhD degree in 2011 from Imperial College London (United Kingdom), majoring in photochemistry and Nano devices. He received his MSc degree with distinction (Magna Cum Laude) in 2008 from the chemistry department, Bar Ilan University (Israel), majoring in materials science and nanotechnology. During his undergraduate studies and before, Assaf gained experience in the Israeli hi-tech industry. He worked for DealTime (Shopping, eBay), Dmatek (3M Attenti) and Cyota (RSA) and today he combines his databases, software and hardware development skills together with advanced research in chemistry and nanotechnology. His research interests include device physics and kinetics, time-domain spectroscopy and photo-driven electron transfer processes in dye sensitized solar cells and in all-oxide thin-films photovoltaics.
